Major Milestone for NorthwestCT Manufacturing RSP: $300,000 Award for Industry-Advancing Training Program

We’d like to bring your attention to the attached press release, along with some images of a press conference that was held about an initiative undertaken by the NorthwestCT Manufacturing Regional Sector Partnership in collaboration with the Manufacturing Alliance Service Corps (MASC), under the leadership of Waterbury legislators Representative Michael DiGiovancarlo -74th and Representative Ron Napol 73rd.

We’re pleased to announce that MASC will receive a $300,000 allocation for the purchase and installation of a self-contained electroplating unit, a key piece of equipment that will allow the implementation of the “first of its kind” training curriculum for the metal finishing industry! This is a significant success and a great achievement for the NorthwestCT Manufacturing RSP, and it all started with a simple conversation about a unified vision that a few manufacturers in our region had for their industry. We are proud to have been a part of this initiative from the very beginning, and are truly honored to be able to have helped turn this vision a reality.
